First, I gently pried the frame apart at one corner and took the cork out of the center.
I gave the frame a quick coat of paint with some white exterior paint we had sitting in the basement.
Super easy and very satisfying. Including time for the paint to dry, this took me about an hour start to finish. I love these kinds of projects.
I love this! I have been looking for some kind of bulletin board to hang in C's room.....when I find one I think I am going to cover it in fabric! Thanks for the idea!!
ReplyDeleteReally easy and beautifull. Thank you for sharing this idea with us.

great looking, fun and quick profect- would make a great mood board that you could change whenever you like. nice!
ReplyDeletehow do you "gently" pry the frame apart at one corner? That appears to be the most significant part of this tutorial.
ReplyDeleteI guess it depends on the cork board. This old one came apart easily at the corner joint. You can see it better in the photo where it's painted white. I think I used a flat head screw driver, wedged it into the seam, and gently twisted. Good luck!
