About Me

My blog, like most things in my life, is inspired by my family. When my daughter was a toddler she'd run out to our raspberry patch yelling "zaaberries"! It was my creative husband who thought that Zaaberry would make a great name first for my business and then for my blog.  With the birth of my daughter, and then my son, my passion for sewing has been reinvigorated. I feel surrounded by so much inspiration in my friends and the amazing creative people whose books I read and blogs I follow.  I often feel like there's too little time to do it all. By day, I'm a mother and a scientist studying Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) and brain development.  At night you'll find me in my sewing room trying to work on an endless project to-do list.  I do my best with the time I have and hope to share a little inspiration with you.
